This management position is responsible for assisting the Practice Manager with planning, organizing, and directing the overall business operations for the medical Practice. Participates in the development and implementation of the practice’s mission, vision and values. Will work closely under the supervision of the President and alongside the Practice Manager.


Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Mission & Vision
Develops a culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability and performance with the shared vision and mission.
Participates with leadership in developing, planning, and/or implementing the clinic's business plans to the Providers and Staff.
Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments.
Maintains strictest confidentiality.
Works with Stericycle to ensure clinic compliance with all regulatory HIPAA and BBP trainings are completed annually. Ensured all safety plans are up to date with correct personnel. Keep track of exposure control logs.
Coordinates efforts with vendors to ensure practice maintains quality standards on all services.
Establishes, secures approval, and oversees clinic operating policies and procedures, continually monitors operations, programs, physical properties. Initiates appropriate changes.
Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care.
Insure Standard Operating Protocols are followed, creating, updating, and enforcing them to the team
Create KPI metrics and ensure teams are meeting required measures
Community Outreach
Encourages community education by initiation participation in health fairs and events to promote awareness. Involved in the overall marketing activities of the practice.
Oversees the Supervisors/Managers Payroll Process. Responsible for transferring payroll from stratustime to flex and makes any necessary changes needed before Finance Manager reviews.
Strategic Planning
Maintains knowledge and informs owners and management about current trends, problems and medical activities to facilitate policy making.
Recommends, develops, implements improvements for the practice.
Leads, coordinates and manages projects within the practice.
Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to manage operations and ensure effective patient care.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of health care administration, fiscal management, human resource management, government regulations and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of computer systems, applications and third parties.

Skill in developing comprehensive reports.
Minimum 5 years management experience
Bachelor’s degree ideally in operations or business-related field
