Job Description:
Primary responsibility will be supporting our employee base with their technology needs including desktop support issues, IP phones, mobile devices, and printers. Experience supporting Windows 10 and Microsoft 365. Good Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. This person should be a good communicator who enjoys working with people from all levels of the company.

Responsibilities

First level support of users’ technology related issues
Utilize HelpDesk and Remote Access applications to assist users and track incidents.
Setup computer systems for new users and instruct on access to company systems including email, desktop applications and cloud-based applications.
Remote troubleshooting and application support via phone, email and remote access tools.
Assist with the support of the IP based phone systems – setup of new users and office moves.
Support Office 365 email and Teams
Support users’ mobile communications devices including mobile phones, smart phones and tablets.
Assist with support of multifunction office printers, copiers and desktop printers.
Ensure all end-user equipment is kept up to date with security patches and feature upgrades.
Serve as backup to IT Manager in their absence.
Troubleshoot basic Network connectivity problems for both wired and wireless configurations.
Assist with IT Asset management and tracking.
Perform basic connectivity troubleshooting for physical and virtual severs in VMware and Windows Hyper-V environments
Make recommendations and implement enhancements for increased uptime, performance, and reliability.

Skills & Qualifications

At least two years’ experience working in a Help Desk/User Support environment.
Basic hardware repairs, installing desktop operating systems and applications.
Comfortable working with desktops and laptops.
Good communication skills
Experience with Windows desktop operating systems
Good understanding of basic TCP/IP protocol and basic network troubleshooting skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook
Working knowledge of Active Directory Account Creation and Password Reset
Working Knowledge of Office 365 Account Creation and administration
Availability for afterhours on-call support is required.
Awareness of HIPPA data security
Basic understanding of Network topology including routers, firewalls, and switches,
Knowledge of  VLANs, VPNs, WAN and SDWAN connections
Basic understanding of virtual server environments.
